HER STORY…
Charlene Hurley (née Qualls), age 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Born on July 5, 1962, to Paul and Hannelore “Lori” Qualls, Charlene lived a life rooted in faith, love, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Charlene was a woman of deep faith and steadfast conviction, a guiding light and true source of strength to those who knew and loved her. A fiercely devoted mother, she lived her life with unconditional love for her sons and would do anything to protect and care for them. Her love was immeasurable, steadfast, and unbreakable.
She is survived by her loving son, Perry; her mother, Lori; brothers, Pernell and Paul (Fran); sisters, Carmen and Margaret; sister-in-love, Tammy (Gary); and cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Thomas, Hunter, Cody, and Victoria.
Charlene was preceded in death by her father, Paul Qualls; brother, Prentist Qualls; beloved sons, Rick Qualls and Jacob Hurley; and granddaughter, Ariah.
To know Charlene was to know unwavering love, compassion, and loyalty. She was someone you could always turn to, whether in moments of joy or hardship, always ready to listen, offer comfort, and love without condition. Her strength, warmth, and fierce love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Charlene found peace and joy in the outdoors and especially cherished the beauty of spring, when the world came alive in bloom. Through every season of life, she carried an unshakable faith that sustained her and inspired those around her.
A private service and burial was held for the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
