Cassandra Lynn Augusta

Cassandra Lynn Augusta was born June 22, 1963 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Clarence Augusta and Searcy Wilson Augusta.

Cassandra grew up in Michigan City all of her life. She attended Michigan City Area Schools. She was recently employed with PPL Filters. She loved singing, dancing, playing her facebook games, but most of all just enjoyed life, and her family, and friends.

 A wake will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4 to 7pm at Coleman & Hicks Chapel. Burial will be Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11am at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.

Cassandra departed this life on February 20, 2021 at Franciscan Health. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Augusta, sister, Judy Augusta, brother, Korery Augusta, grandmothers, Nettie Augusta and Irene Wilson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Searcy Augusta, one sister Rannetta (Aaron) Head, two brothers, Charles Augusta, and Earl Augusta, and a special friend Frankie Lenoir, all of Michigan City, Indiana; two special god-daughters, Rose Wrice of Chicago, Illinois; Jessica Lenoir of Michigan City, Indiana; along with a host nieces, one nephew, cousins,other relatives and friends.

Cassandra will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
