Carlon “Boone” Spencer Bush

HIS Story...

Carlon (Boone) Spencer Bush was born on July 1,1969 to Steve Bush and Ida Louise (Bush) Kelley of Michigan City.

Carlon attended Rogers High School. Grew up on the west side of Michigan City. He loved doing carpentry work and was proud that he built a garage. He enjoyed watching basketball and football. Carlon enjoyed joking around and having fun. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends.

Carlon Bush gained his wings on June 19th,2025 in his home. He is preceded in death by his Father: Steve Bush, Daughter: Veronica Bush, Grandson: Prince Jamall Bush, Niece: Simone Bush, and Grandfather: Hezekiah Bush all of Michigan City IN; Grandmother: Rebecca Taylor of Tupelo, MS.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his Mother: Ida Louise (Bush) Kelley of Michigan City, IN; He is also survived by his Five children: Sharee Spencer, Omaha, NE; Jamall (Princess) Bush Michigan City; IN; Shantavia Spencer Omaha, NE; Anntonia Spencer Michigan City, IN; Semeria Burdine Shannon, MS; He was also a father to: Tatyana Stalling, Hevan Johnson, Jaiques Johnson all of Shannon, MS; His Brother: T. Eugene (Lillian) Ferrell Michigan City, IN; Sisters: Lisa Moore Indianapolis, IN; and Kimberly Bush Adkins Michigan City, IN; and a Sister/Cousin Tina Starks Shannon, MS; a very special and loving friend: Alice Anderson of Michigan City IN; His 18 grandchildren, he shares with Yolanda Spencer of Omaha, NE; Four Uncles, Three Aunts and all his Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Special Friends: Eric Cooper, Keith Burks, Timothy Evans, Peter Davis, Tony Davis, and Duncan Hart all who loved him like a brother.

Carlon’s love, laughter, smile, and presence will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 12 noon, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church 3007 Ohio St. Michigan City, Indiana 46360 with Pastor Allen Briggs Sr., to be Eulogist. Viewing will be 11am until time of service at the Church. Interment will be private.
