Obituary
On March 1, 1990 a King was born Carl Lee Austin, to Carla Austin and Steven Moore in Chicago Illinois.
He attended Medill Elementary School and John M. Smyth Public School. Carl continued his education at the Achievement Academy in Crane Tech Prep High School.
Carl handled his responsibilities as a son, grandson, brother, cousin, and friend. He was a loving and a respectful young man and was very smart and loved to cook. He worked many jobs and was creative in many ways. Carl held many job positions such as Culver’s Restaurant, Harold’s Chicken and Arby’s just to name a few.
Carl Lee Austin gained his wings on March 19, 2023. He was Preceded in Death by his grandmother: Dorothy Sands, grandfather: Carra Little and several aunties and Uncles, Cousins: Kenny, Steven, Odero, Lorenzo, LaShawn, Kenya and several other cousins.
Carl “Tune” left us far too young, but he still leaves behind an impressive legacy. He leaves to cherish his unforgettable memories his Mother: Carla Austin; Father:Steven; Children: his daughter Carla and his son CarlMoore; Sisters: Lela, Jamie and Keisha; Brothers:Christopher, James, Ruben and Orlando; great aunt Valarie Smith; Uncles Shawn, Baron and Ricky; Aunties: Barbara, Angie and Wanda; Grandmother: Clara Moore, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Carl will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
