Baby A’Rayah Sunshyne Wilson

Hi Everybody! My name is A’Rayah Sunshyne Wilson! My Mommy and Daddy said I’m the Ray of Sunshine in their lives.  Isn’t that Beautiful?! Friday, July 31st, I gained my wings at South Bend Memorial Hospital. I’m so Thankful that my loving parents introduced me to Jesus. When he came to me in my dreams, I recognized him immediately! He grabbed my hand, and even though I didn’t want to leave my parents, he whispered to me that “They will be Ok.”My Mommy, Daddy and God were all by my bedside as I gained my wings. 

I was born 3 Months early, weighing only 13 ounces tiny and mighty! I came into this World Fighting. Earning my name, “Princess Warrior.” I went by so many aliases, “Mommy Pooh, Pooh-Pooh, Ma-ma, Peanut, Miss Sunshyne, Sunny Ray, Lil Mama, Princess and Daddy Baby.” I had such a strong grip that would amaze mommy and daddy when they would pray over me. I love when my parents would massage my brows and snuggle time was the best! I love gospel music! There is something about the name JESUS! Can I get a Amen?! Daddy and Mommy taught me that word!

I love wash ups, having my hair oiled and brushed, being rubbed down with lotion (Johnson night time is my favorite) but don’t touch my toes those are only for Daddy! I love long naps snuggled against my Daddy’s chest or under Mommy’s arm, but don’t wake me or you’ll get my side eye! I’m such a fashionista! Mommy and I love playing dress up or at least that’s what I think we’re doing because she changes my outfit after every diaper. I have lots of bows, high heels, fur coats, and outfits for years to come!

I’m so loved. The impact I have on so many has moved my family and friends tremendously!  I will forever watch over my loved ones in heaven, a long side my maternal grandmother, Sonya Leticia Summers and Paternal Great-Grandfathers, Robert H. Jones and Vernon D. Wilson, Sr.

A’Rayah is mourned on earth by her parents, Tyler and La’Quita Wilson. Paternal Poppy and GiGi, Stafford and Alicia (Trina) Wilson. Maternal Aunts and Uncles, Christina Miller, Keanna Askew, Ayanos McClinton, Ja’Qwuan Summers, Daniel Summers. Paternal Uncle, Christopher Wilson. God-Parents: James & Sherita Gearring, Marissa Gooch. Paternal Great-Grandmothers, Annie Jones and Florine Wilson and a host of Cousins, Great Aunties, Great Uncles, Relatives and Friends. 

Thank You Mommy and Daddy for being with me during my whole journey! For that, I Will Always Be With You! I loved our Sleep Overs, Movie Nights, Praise Breaks, and Sing Alongs. Though I’m not here physically, I’ve fulfilled my Purpose! Please Love on each other, as you loved on me. Victory Belongs to Jesus! Remember, I’m not lost. You know exactly where I am. I’m Excited to See You Again!

Viewing will be 10:00am Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Coleman & Hicks Chapel. Celebration of Life will be for the family. The family request the CDC guidelines with social distancing and facial masks are mandated to be worn.
