Andre Desautels

Andre Desautels was born on July 29, 1942. He was a oldest brother of 3 boys, Laurent Desautels being the middle and Olivier Desautels being the youngest.

The Desautels family migrated to the united states when Andre was 8 years of age, settling in the city of Chicago. Andre loved all sports but baseball was his favorite. He was a dedicated Chicago Cubs fan. Andre joined the United States Army fresh out of Highschool and was stationed in Germany. He served honorably until he was 24 years of age. He worked like many service men at the time in the mills and ship yards that are on the river near the City. Once retired Andre had a love of golfing and bowling with his old buddies as well as spending time with family. 

 Andre Desautels passed on May 3rd, 2022 leaving behind fond memories with his wife Sandy Desautels and children. Nicole Conry, Luke Desautels, Andre Jr Desautels and Kris Desautels, as well as his grandchildren, Luke Jr Desautels, Aurora Conry and Brandy Desautels as well as his one remaining brother Olivier. His family is following through with his request to be cremated, so his ashes can remain with his loved ones. The family will be holding a private memorial to honor and remember his life.
