Minister Mary L. Davis, 76, Tacoma, Washington, formerly Michigan City, departed this life on June 11, 2017 at Avamere Heritage Rehab Center of Tacoma.

Minister Davis was born April 10, 1941 to the late Theodore Roosevelt Frost and Dorthulas Worthington.

Minister Davis accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a faithful member of Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church. She was a Minister and on the Mother’s Board at the church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, fishing, music and being with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, four children, Shelia Davis and Sharon Davis both of Michigan City, Indiana; Pamela (Dalton) Gamboa and Angela Wells both of Tacoma, Washington; two sisters, Rosemary Mitchell of Indianapolis, Indiana and Rosie Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri; one brother, Theopolis (Sherry) Frost of Kansas City, Missouri; special friends, Minister Bobbie Lindsey, Mother Ellaese Hogan, Pastor Annie Benning and Dorothy Stone; eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Valeria Wells; three sisters, Lucille Stalling, Mary Frances Mimes and Beulah Jacobs; five brothers, Rueben Jones, Hurbert Jones, Joe T. Jones, Frank Otis Frost and James Frost; one grandchild, Terry Webb; four great grandchildren; one special friend, Mother Dorothy Pearson.
