Michael Gunn 52, of Chicago, Illinois departed this life on April 12, 2019.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Precious Memories Chapel 7605 South Halsted Street, Chicago, IL with Rev. Robert Curtis to officiate. Viewing will be 12:00pm, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Precious Memories Chapel until the time of service.

Michael Anthony Gunn was born March 29th, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Arthur Gunn Sr. and Elois Gunn. 

He gave his life to Christ at an early age. Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. 

He leaves to cherish his memories five brothers, Larry Gunn, Arthur Gunn (Sebrena) both of Tuscumbia, AL, Kenneth Gunn, Raymond Gunn, and Darren Gunn all of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Teresa Tucker of Chicago, IL, and Patricia Woods of San Diego, CA; foster siblings, Jeffery Bridges, James Winston, Jenice Winston, Jenae Winston, and Jetisha Wilson; uncles, Rev. Estes Thompson (Shirley) of Cherokee, AL, Chasie Thompson (Allean) of Huntsville, AL, Frank West of Muscle Shoals, AL, Dewayne Gunn, and Darren Gunn of Chicago, IL; aunts, Lula Curtis of Lima, Ohio, Christine Thompson of Cherokee, AL, Mary King (David) of Muscle Shoals, AL, Leverne Gunn, and Teresa Gunn, Dana Wilson (Christopher) all of Waukegan, IL; A very special friend, LeTish Brown, and a devoted friend Andrea Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee Gunn Sr., and his mother, Elois Gunn, nephew, Mareques Gunn; paternal grandparents, Lonnie Sr. and Elzater Thompson, maternal grandmother, Rosie West and Albert Gunn; Uncles, Floyd Thompson, Lonnie Thompson, and Charles Thompson (Lemyrtle).
