Lyn Sheehy, 58, Michigan City, Indiana departed this life on July 22, 2017 at Franciscan St. Anthony Hospice Center.

Memorial Services will be 1:00pm, Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Coleman & Hicks Funeral Chapel.

Lyn Sheehy was born March 6, 1959 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late John Sheehy and Sonja Rae (Richards) Sheehy.

She attended college. Lyn worked as Ladle Crane Operator at Arcelor Mittal in Burns Harbor, Indiana. She loved watching old movies and spending time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her soulmate, Steven D. Carr of Michigan City, Indiana; one daughter, Sarah Messenger of Michigan City, Indiana; five brothers, Jeff (Diana) Stapp of Allegan, Michigan, Patrick (Victoria) Sheehy of Newark, California, Randall (Lisa) Sheehy of Monroe, Michigan, William Sheehy of Texas and Timothy (Sharon Powell) Sheehy of Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Christian Messenger and Preston Messenger both of Michigan City, Indiana; two special friends, Kathy Bohler and Sue Kahn; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
