KATRINA D. (Hull) ROGERS

Katrina D. Rogers 58, of Michigan City, Indiana departed this life on January 16, 2020 in Chesterton, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be 12pm, Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Greater Powerhouse COGIC with Elder Edker Hull to give the eulogy. Viewing will be 11am Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the church until the time of service.

Katrina was born on September 1, 1961 in Michigan City, Indiana to the union of the late Eddie Hull Sr., and Catherine Goodwin. On September 16, 1994 in Michigan City, Indiana she met and married her best friend, Nelson Rogers and to this union they reared five children.

Katrina attended Michigan City area schools. She worked as an assembler at Gateway until she could no longer work, her hobbies, were painting and drawing houses, remodeling houses with her husband.

She leaves to mourn her memory, her husband, Nelson Rogers of Michigan City, Indiana; five children, Anthony Pettis and Gabrielle Pettis both of Michigan City, Indiana, Michael Rogers of Indianapolis, Indiana and Andre Rogers of Michigan City, Indiana; Ebony Stallings, of South Bend, Indiana; siblings: five sisters, Debbie (Jerome) Johnson, Debra Hull, Kelley (Freddy) Tillman, Rochelle (Elder James) Allison and Deborah (Christopher) Lawhorn; three brothers, Eddie (Versireen) Hull Sr., of Merrillville, Indiana, James (Sharron) Steward of Mishawaka, Indiana and Elder Edker (Tina) Hull Sr. of Michigan City, Indiana; one favorite aunt, Katrina Jarrett of Michigan City, Indiana; twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Katrina was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lavencia Aldridge and Pamela White; two brothers, Bruce Goodwin and Kent Parker; one niece, Brandy Mitchell and one nephew, Jarvis Johnson.
