James Moore Jr.

James L. Moore Jr. 47, South Bend made his transition on May 26, 2019.

Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Lane to officiate. Burial will be immediately following the services at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Viewing will be 11am Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the church until the time of service.

James Lewis Moore Jr. “RawDilla” was born August 11, 1971 in Baxter Springs, Kansas to James L. Moore Sr. and Linda C. Evans(Moore).

He was a member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, South Bend, Indiana. He loved music and was a DJ at heart always recording music and songs. He used the name “DJ Raw” and later changed his name to “RawDilla.” He was an assembly technician at AM General in South Bend, IN. for 17 years.

He married D’Mitria Isbell and they had one daughter, Yabreya Moore and step daughter, YaShema Isbell. Later he married Stacie Ryecraw and they had one son, James L. Moore III, and lived in Cincinnati, OH in 2000. He moved in South Bend, IN in 2002.

 James leaves to cherish his fond memories, two children Yabreya Moore of Michigan City, IN; James L.Moore III of Dallas, TX; one step-daughter YaShema Isbell of Indianapolis, IN.; his father James Moore Sr. of South Bend, IN; his mother Linda Evans of Michigan City, IN., an adopted sister Tesa Shante Moore of Cheyenne, WY, and a host of relatives and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Jesse & Lavonia Moore, Wilbur and Naomi E. Berger and one sister, Valerie Dee Moore.
