Mr. Clarence E. Howard Jr., departed this life on November 30, 2018 at the Life Care of Michigan City.
A celebration of his life will take place at noon on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church 1480 Boyd Blvd of LaPorte, IN. Internment will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military honors. Viewing will be 11am, Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 at the church until the time of service.
Mr. Howard was born August 30, 1947 in Canton, MS to the late Clarence E. Howard, Sr and Zelladia Moore. On June 9, 1991 he married Jeny Hodgson
in Nicaragua, Central America.
In 1966 he enlisted in the United States Army. He Served his country honorably.
He was a member of the Michigan City Voice of Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church where he served as an Elder and Treasurer. He love to shop, sing, listen to music and the watching the news.
Clarence leaves to cherish his fond memories, his wife, Jeny Howard; three beloved children, Sherry (George) Hines, Envoy (Elliette) Hodgson and Briggette (Douglas) Bradley all of Michigan City; three sisters, Cora Johnson, Birdella Luckett both of Michigan City and Lavanna Manning New Orleans; three brothers, Grant (Susan) Payton, Michigan City, the Rev. Thomas (Vivian) Payton of Gary and the Rev. Michael (Susan) Payton, Michigan City; mother-in-love, Teya Wainwright; two sisters in-love, Dolores Casanova and Elena Casanova and one brother in-love, Wilford (Martha) Casanova; two special friends, Michael Hampel and Gerold Hall;14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Eva Timberlake.
