We were sorry to hear of the passing of Al Whitlow. He was a great icon for all of us in the class of 1970 at Elston High School. He was an elegant, good man, who went about the business of being an educator and MC leader in his quiet, endearing way. Mr. Whitlow will be missed by all.

To the Family of Mr. Allan Whitlow:

I remember Mr. Whitlow in my growing up. He was a wonderful and powerful and encouraging mentor for many including myself. He always had uplifting words to impart and he was never too busy to listen. Thank God, for Mr. Whitlow and for others such as Charles Westcott not to mention a few who imparted in the lives of many of Michigan City's Youth. Thank you Family, for sharing this Great Man of God with many.
