HER STORY...
Joyce Ann Lipsey, affectionately known as “Doll”, was born on November 3, 1952, to the late John C. and Leathie Lipsey in Michigan City, Indiana.
In 1962, she confessed her love for the Lord, at the tender age of 10 years old. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lakeland and later became a member of Mt. Zion MB Church (Now known as Zion Hill MB Church). While a member at Zion Hill, Joyce served the Lord through various auxiliaries, such as the Mission Department, in the kitchen, and her beloved Nurses Board. Joyce attended and graduated from Elston High School in 1971. Shortly after, Joyce went on to work on her business degree at Purdue North Central.
Joyce was a very hard worker, ministering to others as a CNA for over 40 years. Even after retirement, she continued to serve others as a Home Health Aide and a School Crossing Guard. Joyce loved watching Star Wars and cartoons, cooking, planting flowers and most importantly, shopping on QVC. She was passionate about serving others inside and outside of the church.
