I am very sorry for your loss; Condolences to you and your family. I look forward to the time when "death is swallowed up forever." (1 Corinthians 15:54) When one of my family members passed away, I looked to my family for comfort, but most importantly, I received comfort from God's Word the Bible. Jesus likened death to sleeping. This is encouraging because people can be awakened from sleep. The Bible gives us hope of a resurrection. In Revelation 21:4, God promises, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." I look forward to that time and it helps me get by. I hope it is encouraging to you too. If you are interested in more encouragement from the scriptures, I invite you to go to www.JW.org.

To the Family of Mother Willie C. Garrett:

Words cannot express my sincere condolences to Mary and the entire Garrett family. Mother Garrett was a very quiet and gentle soul who would do anything to be a blessing to others. I remember when I was a member of Greater Powerhouse and I was going through tests and trials Mother Garrett, would take me by the hand and walk me to the alter and pray with me. I will forever cherish the love and prayers that eliminated from this powerful Woman of God.

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. It's good morning now Mother Garrett.

My prayers are for the family of Mother Garrett.
Mother Garrett has always had my respect since the time she swooped me with a switch for fighting in front of her home on Ashland, when I was a child. She loved all us children and wanted all us to just get along with each other. In other words, be friends. When I got saved, I would enjoy watching Mother Garrett praise the Lord when the spirit was upon her. I'll see you again Mother Garrett in Glory.
Love Deacon Steven Ray
