Walter Fly Lenoir was born June 6, 1958 in Sunflower, Mississippi to the late Walter Fly and Lestine Williams-Lenoir.

He loved painting, repairing bikes and landscaping. Walter was great with his hands.

Walter departed this life on April 10, 2017 at Franciscan St. Anthony Hospital in Michigan City, Indiana. He is preceded in death by, his parents; stepfather, RJ Lenoir; one son, Tristan Frierson; four brothers, Melvin Calhoun, James Calhoun, Joe Fly and Wallace Evans.

He leaves to cherish his memories, eleven children, Shalonda Orzech, Waltrina (Allen) Hatch, Claresa Lenoir, Walter Andre Lenoir all of Michigan City, Indiana, Terrell Frierson and Darnell Williams both of Indianapolis, Indiana, Waltrekis Lenoir of Longview, Texas, Chiffon Edwards of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, Star Davis of Atlanta, Georgia, Darlene Kelly of Michigan City, Indiana, Nikita Miller and Damita Smith; special lady Diana Hurt of Michigan City, Indiana; five sisters, Shirley (Willie) Clay of Chicago, Illinois, Christine Kent, Geraldine (David) Jackson, Sondra (Douglas) Lenoir all of Michigan City, Indiana and Rachel Fly of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; seven brothers, Randy Lenoir, Robert Lenoir, Kenny (Mary) Lenoir, Jody Lenoir, Willis (Wanda) Lenoir, Wallace Lenoir and Roger Lenoir all of Michigan City, Indiana; special sister-in-law, Barbara Hurt of Michigan City, Indiana; twenty-five grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.
