Message from Martha Murrell, Cousin from KY
August 24, 2017 7:54 AM

When I heard of the news of Steve's passing, something left my soul. He was so attached to everyone he met. He left this world leaving his spirit of laughter that I can still hear in my head, he left his spirit of love and kindness that so many people have been touched. He truly had a heart of gold and I'll never forget the summer I spent with them and he gave me a new name, "Black Princess". The oddest thing was his mom bought me a pair of shoes to take home to KY with me and on the top of the box it said, "Black Princess." That was the moment I knew we were the best of cousins ever. I loved Steve and he loved everyone back. I won't say goodbye, but "see ya later cuz". My deepest sympathy to his family. May the Lord bless you and keep you under his strength today and in the days ahead. God bless you all. Martha Johnson-Murrell
