Mrs. Pearl C. Fargo, 77, Michigan City, Indiana, departed this life on Aug. 16, 2017.

Funeral services will be noon, Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church 629 East Michigan Boulevard with Pastor Charlene E. Arrington-Moore officiating, burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Viewing will be 10 a.m., Friday at the church until the time of service.

Mrs. Fargo was born Dec. 12, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late John Roberts and Sevalia Roberts. On Sept. 21, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois, she married her soulmate, Ronald M. Fargo, Sr.

Mrs. Fargo was a faithful member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church where served as Stewardess, Missionary, Class Leader, Trustee, Hospitality Committee and Pastor Advisor’s. She would occasionally sing in the choir. She was employed with Michigan City Area School Transportation as a bus monitor.

She leaves to mourn her memories, two sons, Ronald M. (Ana P. Henriquez) Fargo, Jr., Lake Wales, Florida and Rodney D. Fargo, Michigan City, Indiana; five grandchildren, Jac’Ques Fargo, Virginia Beach, Virginia, Jacob Fargo, Jousha Fargo, Kobe Fargo and Jason Fargo all of Michigan City, Indiana; two sisters, Alice P. Jenkins and Delores Rubio both of Chicago, Illinois; one special daughter, Pastor Charlene E. Arrington-Moore; two special friends, Lavern Dunlap and Mary Smith and a host of relatives, friends and her church family Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Fargo was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and her husband, Ronald Mr. Fargo, Sr.
