I am very sorry for your loss; Condolences to you and your family. I look forward to the time when "death is swallowed up forever." (1 Corinthians 15:54) When one of my family members passed away, I looked to my family for comfort, but most importantly, I received comfort from God's Word the Bible. Jesus likened death to sleeping. This is encouraging because people can be awakened from sleep. The Bible gives us hope of a resurrection. In Revelation 21:4, God promises, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." I look forward to that time and it helps me get by. I hope it is encouraging to you too. If you are interested in more encouragement from the scriptures, I invite you to go to www.JW.org.

Miss Linda was a very influential woman of God in my life. Her example of finding joy, no matter the circumstance, is how I will always remember her. I know her faith was strong and she will be even more joyful when she wakes up to find herself in the arms of Jesus.

I was in shock when I heard the sad news. Our Miss Linda was gone from us. She has been our friend for so long now and there will always be a hole in our hearts. But we will try to fill that hole with wonderful, sometimes silly, memories of her sweet smile. She graced us with her presence at our wedding and always supported our love. She gave the best hugs! And we could always count on her on Halloween to come up with the best costumes. I asked my Mom in heaven to be on the look-out for the woman with the brightest smile, most sparkling eyes, and biggest heart. What the shipwreck, indeed, Miss Linda.

I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Scott family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection (Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) that will very soon be eleminated forever, and no family will mourn the death of a loved one (Revelation 21:3,4). This promise has been given by Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18). Truly, what a glorious and almost unbelievable day that will be! It's a reality though for God cannot lie (Titus 1:2).
