Lenora Yvonne Rogers fell asleep in death January 16, 2018 at 2:15 p.m. in Michigan City, Indiana.  Lenora was the loving daughter of Norma (the late Andrew) Jackson and the late Herman Rogers.  She leaves behind three sisters and a brother; Deboraha (Henry) Evans of Michigan City, Danielle (Gordon) Allen of Atlanta, GA, Caron (Willard) Little of Jonesboro, GA, and Keir (Meg) Rogers of Chicago, IL.

 She was proceeded in death by her brother Ismael Rogers.  

Lenora had ten beautiful nieces and nephews whom she cared for deeply;Elliot, Natalie, Carly, Bianca, Monique, Ishmael, Leslie, Joshua, Lonie, and Owen, as well as many great-nieces and nephews.  Lenora graduated from Rogers High School as a member of the National Honor Society.  Lenora was a kind, gentle and intelligent soul embracing life through literature, art, science, history and the marvels of God’s beautiful earth.  

Though nothing can bring back the hour, the splendor in the grass, the glory in the flower; we will grieve not.  Rather find strength…in what remains behind.
