I am sorry to have first learned of the visitation four days after it was held due to email issues. Kim was a special person. She was a hard worker, a quick learner and exactly what the practice of law needs. She was a good example for all of her generation. She also had an infectious smile and was a very good person. She should have been with us for many, many more years. At least those of us in the bar can take comfort in one thing. We know at least one lawyer in Heaven.

A FEATHERY PALM PLANT was sent on September 23, 2017

Kim provided me with purpose, direction, and motivation during law school. Even until the end, she was thinking of and cared about others. Class act. I'm a better person for having known her. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you Kim! Truly, Takura

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Kim really knew how to make you look inside yourself to find the answers.. Her tough love as a teacher is something I will never forget.. She could help you see the forest through the trees, by helping you see that doubt and fear are only in your head. She may be gone, but she will always hold a special place in my heart...

To the family of Kim Kiner, I met Kim in the post office a few years back she was mailing a stack of envelopes out, a lady asked her what she was doing and she told her. I asked her what type of business she had she told me law, I was shocked because I never heard of this young black female in MC. She said she wanted her autobiography to touch lives, Ms Kim you have above and beyond that, your story will go far and touch many lives. May God give this family strength to go on . Thanks for sharing this angel with the world. God Bless you.

Even though you are gone away,
Your love will always be here to stay.
You touched our hearts with so many things.

God knew you were the one to save,
He took you home to get some rest,
Even though we loved you best.

Our hearts are filled with so much pain,
God loved you more, there was no shame.

At this time we must let go.
Your memories we will keep a flow.
Rest our dear cousin with peace of mind,
Your memories will live on through.

Rest In Peace Kim I love you
