Kamilion S. Jenkins, 15, known affectionately as "Milly", was called home by the Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. 

 

Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 123 Helen Street, Michigan City, Indiana with Dr. Stanley Mason officiating burial to follow at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The visitation will be 4pm to 7pm Friday, April 7, 2017 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

 

Milly was a student at Westville High School. She was employed at McDonald Restaurant and Kidz Paradise. Kamilion was a child that was full of joy, laughter, she love to play basketball, sing and dance. Milly attended Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She had a heart of gold and she loved her family and her dog “fat momma”.

Kamilion S. Jenkins was called home by the Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. She was preceded in death her brother, Brentell Hurt, grandparents, Xenia Jenkins, George Jenkins, Mary Oliver, William Kimble, Robert Hogan Sr. and Elnora Hogan; two uncles, Gerald Jenkins and Gary Jenkins; two aunts, Pearlie Oliver, and Rosetta Minley; one cousin, Yankee Muhammad.

Milly leaves to cherish her parents, Jose (Kathy) Jenkins, Shontelle (Brandon) Hogan-Abrons both of Michigan City, Indiana; her siblings, Antonio (Rita) Hurt Sr., Sierra (Damen) Richard and Kahlia (Darius) Freese all of Michigan City, Indiana, Kyanna Jenkins, Virginia, Alexis (Willie) Tompkins, Jose Jenkins, Jr. both of Michigan City, Indiana; special brother, Dontarius Phillips; godsisters, Keshyann Cooper, DeJah Johnson and Gwen Johnson; grandparents, Georgina Jenkins, Jose Crosby and Ruth Banks all of Michigan City, Indiana and Rev. Donald (Genevia) Hogan, Madison, Wisconsin; uncles, Lawrence Kimble, Scott (LaKeisha) Pender, Don Hogan Jr., Robert Horton and Timothy Hogan; aunts, Ardora Hogan, Ebony (Mister) Austin, Ivory (Greg) Jenkins and Joia Sangs; three special cousins, Kivii Pender, Deanna Jenkins and LaQunn Wilson; five special friends, Johnasia Bernard, Aabreauna Tillman, Alyssa Bohle Heaven Wert and Gaige Jania; sixteen nieces, nephews and one unborn; and a host of relatives and friends.
