Joshua Cohen was born February 13, 1971 in Michigan City, Indiana to Elizabeth A. Krajeck and Ronald D. Cohen.

Joshua enjoyed working on cars. He attended high school in Michigan City.

Joshua Cohen departed this life on October 6, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his best friend, Walter Lenoir.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald D. Cohen of Gary, Indiana and Elizabeth A. Krajeck of Indianapolis, Indiana; one son, DeQuane Cohen of Michigan City, Indiana, one daughter, that reared, Destiny Jackson of Michigan City, Indiana; two stepchildren, Christopher Gause and Joshua Gause both of Gary, Indiana; sisters, Alysha Featherman, Los Angeles, California, Elizabeth Moore and Danielle Maicki both of Chicago, Illinois; one uncle, Alan Cohen of Berkley, California; special friends, Willis Lenoir, Douglas Baker, Jr., Joseph Woodard, Ben Kosiba, Anthony Stewart and childhood friend, Daryl Walton of Gary, Indiana.
